PE at Eastside Basketball Club (EBC)

A few reasons for partnering with EBC

  • High quality gym featuring hardwood flooring with ample room for class sizes of 20-30 students
  • Indoor, climate controlled environment for comfortable, year-round classes that never have to be cancelled due to rain!
  • Location close to Marymoor Park so we can use both spaces for PE classes and camps
  • Classrooms for students in PE programs to engage in film study and focused cognitive learning
  • Study areas for non-participating students so studies don't suffer from attending PE class
  • Access to on-site cameras from your laptop so you can keep an eye on your students if not on-site
  • Sitting areas with bleachers so parents can safely and comfortably watch their student(s) having fun and learning in class

Enrollment Process

  • The best method would be to attend Open House at the EBC facility, check it out, meet Coach Jacob, then enroll in-person.  We can accept cash, check, or credit/debit cards using this method.
  • The other method is to sign up online by purchasing the desired package(s) via this website.
    • Please download, fill out, & submit the Enrollment Form BEFORE purchasing classes
    • Select the semester(s) and/or camp(s) you'd like to enroll and add it to the shopping cart
    • Be sure to select the correct quantity based on the number of students you'd like to enroll

    • Show up for the first day of class/camp!!!

Picking a Class Day and Time

Figuring out when to have which classes when has been quite an obstacle as I'm figuring out how to best provide PE classes so this is the new procedure for choosing classes.

YOU NOW HAVE TWO CHOICES:

1.  JOIN AN EXISTING CLASS WITH STUDENTS ALREADY ENROLLED.  If there is a class day and time that works for you already in-session then complete the enrollment process as described above and when paying tuition simply choose the thumbnail that is associated with that chosen class.

2.  CREATE A CLASS DURING ANY "OPEN" SLOT.  If none of the existing class days and times work for you then choose any "OPEN" class slot listed below.  Complete the enrollment process as described above and when paying tuition simply choose the generic thumbnail for the class you would like to start (U6, U11, or U17).  On the enrollment form there is a spot to list your desired day and time.  Once the enrollment process is completed and tuition is paid then a thumbnail associated with that class will be created so other parents can sign up for that class slot.

Maximize Your Physical Education with a Multi-Day Program

Meet the daily physical activity recommendation of 6o minutes of moderate to vigorous activity while learning, having fun, and growing in all human domains by attending PE classes multiple days per week!

We have purposefully kept tuition costs down so parents can enroll several students in multi-day programs.  Physical Education, as with other academic subjects, must be engaged in multiple times per week to achieve content mastery.

Listed tuition costs are for enrolling one student in a once per week PE class.  When enrolling for multiple days, pick the days you would like to enroll in PE class then purchase each one individually.

Example: Enrolling in a Monday/Wednesday/Friday schedule for one student would be:

3 classes/week/semester x $200+tax/class/semester = $600+tax total/semester

Keep in mind that would be 2,160 instructional minutes of PE!

Scheduling Process Explained

There are two options:

1.  Join an existing class with students already enrolled

2.  Create a class during any "OPEN" time slot
