This webpage is designed to introduce you to my teaching style and curriculum development potential.  I have linked a variety of videos that have all been created, edited, and produced by me.  The music in the instructional videos is also created by me.  This is a sample of the Online PE Program I am making.

Step Aerobics Program

Foundational Step: Charleston

Foundational videos are designed to introduce students to each individual step, develop rhythm, and practice the motor skill.  An individual video has been created for each of the 10 Foundational Steps and are the centerpiece of the introductory lessons in the Step Aerobics Unit.

Beginner Routine 3

This video is designed for students to begin learning how to combine individual steps into complex routines.  Three step routines are the most basic cadence that can be taught.  The steps in the routine are:

Basic- Tap Up- Repeater


Intermediate Routine 1

This video is designed for students who have mastered three step routines and are ready for increased complexity.  These Intermediate routines contain five individual steps, which make keeping up quite a challenge.  The steps in the routine are: 

Basic- Tap Up- V Step- Charleston- Split Basic

Flexibility program

Rear Foot Hold

This instructional video is designed to teach the proper technique for stretching the Quadriceps along with modifications based on ability level.  This is one of 21 stretches that comprise the "Full Body Stretch".

Seated Foot Push

The "Full Body Stretch" is broken into a lower and upper body portion.  This upper body stretch is designed to stretch Rhomboid, Trapezius, and Latissimus Dorsi muscles and is quite complex to perform.

Full Body Stretch Performance

This one is designed for students who have watched each individual stretch video and mastered the technique.  There are no instructions, only music, so students can focus on completing the stretch routine as efficiently as possible.  I created all music on this video.

Alpha Version of Online PE Program

Backstory

I have long held the vision of creating an Online PE Program for Homeschool families to be able to access and implement at home, on driveways, and at local parks.  The following videos were made in 2017 and represent my first attempt at this massive project.  This was also when I had just started my homeschool PE business.


These videos offer an insight into my curriculum development and teaching style.  I can teach over 10 different sports and at least 5 different exercise modalities, so my range is vast.


The idea of the program was that I: 

-Set an objective for students to be able to complete at home  

-Provide them with the skill cues necessary to be successful

-Show the family what equipment is needed, how much it costs, where to purchase it, and how to set it up for PE activities

-Provide instructions on how to move and engage with the equipment and activity to maximize learning

-Provide assessment activities and standards to monitor skill development


Parents and students would then take their phone outside, stream the instruction, and get their PE activity time in an authentic way.  My vision is to create a complete program for all the sports and exercise modalities I can teach.


This is relevant because this is all the same info I will be using to teach in your students.
